How do I win money or prizes?

What do I have to do to start playing?

If you have downloaded and started our software, you now have to register at HeartLandPoker. Fill in the requested fields and validate your email address. After done this choose your game in the lobby, select a table and take a seat.

How do I select the game I want to play?

In the Lobby all offered games are listed on the left side. Select a game and all available tables will appear on the right side. Double-click on a table, take a seat and you are ready to play. You can also click on the button “Go To Table”.

What can I do if the table I want to play on is full?

In this case, click on the table and choose “Join Waiting List”. As soon as a seat is available, it will be announced to you.

Can both my wife and I play on your site simultaneously?

Can I hide full tables from search?

Yes, just click on “Hide full tables” above the table list.

Can I search for other players? 

Yes, go to "My account" from the main lobby, choose "Buddy List" and enter the player's Nickname. You will see which at which table or in what tournament they are playing.

Can I create private tables and play with my friends?

No. You are only allowed to play on the tables provided by HeartLandPoker.

Where can I learn about the different types of poker games and hand rankings?

HeartLandPoker offers Texas Hold`em, Omaha Hi/Lo, Omaha Hi and 7 Card Stud. To learn more about these types of poker games, please, see"Game Rules" and "House Rules".

Where can I find the hand rankings?

HeartLandPoker wants all players to feel at home at the tables. In order to achieve this, we require players to follow house rules regarding communication between players. Chat privileges will be blocked for 24 hours if, for example, you have been communicating using foul language.

Offensive Nickname

To ensure a comfortable and enjoyable playing environment we must ask all players to follow a uniform code of conduct. Our rules of etiquette can be found on our website. If we feel that your Nickname isn’t acceptable to us, we will ask you to submit 3 new names in order of preference which we will use to give you a new nickname.

When we receive your reply with the chosen names, we will make the changes and send you back a confirmation with your new nickname. If you do not reply we reserve the right to change your Nickname at any time.

Yes. You only have to select the “Deal me out” option. Please try to come back as quick as possible.

How can I review a played hand?

During the hand you'll have the chance to view your graphical hand history, or after finishing the hand you also may request a hand history by email. You can also locate your full hand history which is stored on your own computer by going to Start > My Computer > C: > Program files > The Poker room > Hand history.

Can I play for free at HeartLandPoker?

Yes, of course you can! Just download our software, register at HeartLandPoker and you can start playing at our Practice Chips tables.

What are Practice Chips?

Practice Chips have no cash value. Try out our Practice Chips tables to learn new games or test your strategies without any risk.

How many chips do I get for playing at Practice Chips tables?

You receive 1,000.  If you run out of chips simply click on the chips of the bank while in a game and you will receive more chips. The max. amount you can get at one time is  1,000.

How do I use Practice Chips on your site?

HeartLandPoker provides players with comfortable options to play at our play money tables. When you sign up at HeartLandPoker, your account is by default a Practice Chips account. Practice Chips tables have been provided for the benefit of learning the game better. It is an experience in itself, a lot of fun and absolutely free of charge. You can get the feel of any game, and you are not required to make any kind of real money deposit.

Getting to play at our play money tables is very simple. Once you have downloaded our free HeartLandPoker software, join a Practice Chips table and you will be able to receive free Practice Chips at any time.

How do I win money or prizes?

The Heartland Poker League in a national poker league for casino players.  Participating   casinos run weekly tournaments with buy-ins of $50 to $100.  All of the prize money is paid out at the end of the tournament, but if you cash, you get points.  Points will win you store credit or seats into freeroll tournaments held here.  Cash your store credit in for thousands in prizes like seats into WSOP, WPT or HPT tournaments, electronics, even gas cards.  Find out more at www.heartlandpokerleague.com
